Instructions for Use

Power Button Controls

• Press the power button once to turn the display on and show battery percentage
• Press the power button once quickly to turn the display off. Do not press and hold. If it does not turn off immediately, do not press the button again as this may turn the power bank back on.
• The display should turn off automatically in about 30 seconds when nothing is connected. If it remains on, connect a device to one of the built-in cables briefly and then disconnect to turn off the display.

How to Charge Your Devices

Wired Charging (Built-In USB-C or Lightning Cables):

• Attach the built-in cable to your device; charging begins automatically
• No button press required

Wireless Charging (MagSafe / Apple Watch):

• Place your MagSafe-compatible device on the wireless pad until you feel it click into alignment
• Press the power button once to turn on and initiate charging
• For Apple Watch, align the back of the watch with the Apple Watch charging pad and press the power button once to initiate charging

How to Recharge Your Power Bank

• Connect the integrated USB-C cable or a compatible USB-C cable to the USB-C port
• Plug into a compatible USB-C charging block and connect to a power outlet. For optimal charging speed, use an 18W or higher USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charging block and a PD-capable cable. Note that not all USB-C cables support Power Delivery. A basic charge-only cable may charge slowly or not at all.
• The Ridge Power Bank supports pass-through charging so you can recharge the power bank while simultaneously charging a connected device. Charging speeds may be slower when both occur together.

Understanding the LED Display

Green Lightning Bolt Icon:

• Appears above the % when fast charging (Power Delivery) is active
• This is NOT a battery level indicator
• May remain lit after removing a MagSafe-connected device. If it remains on, connect a device to one of the built-in cables briefly and then disconnect to turn off the green light.

When Using Multiple Outputs:

• Fast charging (9V/12V) is disabled if USB + wireless are used simultaneously
• Output defaults to standard 5V
• Wireless output defaults to 5W

The Ridge Power Bank poses a significant risk of choking, electric shock, and battery-related injury if handled by children or persons who cannot safely manage or operate the product. Small Parts: The Ridge Power Bank contains small parts including built-in cables, connectors, and magnets. If any component is swallowed or ingested, seek immediate medical attention. Battery Safety: The Ridge Power Bank contains a lithium-ion battery. Lithium-ion batteries are capable of overheating and undergoing a process called thermal runaway, which can occur without warning and may result in fire, explosion, or chemical leakage. Charging Conditions & Heat: The Ridge Power Bank generates heat during charging, and heat increases further with heavy phone use such as gaming or streaming. Always charge in a well-ventilated area, away from pillows, blankets, mattresses, bedding, and other soft or flammable surfaces, as these trap heat and significantly increase the risk of fire. Do not charge in an enclosed or unventilated space such as a bag, pocket, or drawer where airflow is restricted. If both devices are already warm, allow them to cool for 10-15 minutes before charging. Do not leave the Ridge Power Bank unattended while charging, and do not use while sleeping. Excessive heat or improper usage may slow charging speed or cause damage or injury.

Short Circuit & Overload Protection: Do not exceed the rated output of the Ridge Power Bank. Store the product away from conductive objects, such as coins, paperclips, and keys. Do not insert any metal objects into the USB output port or joining terminals of the Ridge Power Bank. Overloading or short-circuiting can result in fire or injury.

Water & Moisture Exposure: The Ridge Power Bank is not waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, rain, or high humidity, as moisture can damage internal components and create a risk of electric shock or fire. If the Ridge Power Bank is significantly exposed to water or moisture, do not attempt to charge or use it until it has dried completely. Once dry, monitor it closely over the next few uses for any signs of internal damage, including unusual warmth, odor, or unexpected behavior. Disassembly & Modifications: Never disassemble, incinerate, microwave, paint, or insert foreign objects into the Ridge Power Bank. Do not clean with harsh chemicals or detergents. If you experience any issues with your Ridge Power Bank, contact Ridge Support for assistance rather than attempting repairs. Improper handling may cause injury or fire.

Device Compatibility: Ensure your device is MagSafe-compatible or uses a suitable magnetic adapter. Forcing the Ridge Power Bank onto incompatible devices may reduce charging efficiency or cause damage. Note: The Ridge Power Bank may not be compatible with all phone cases, depending on the thickness. Additionally, the magnetic feature will only work with MagSafe-compatible phone cases.

Use, Storage & Environmental Exposure: Only use the Ridge Power Bank in dry locations, away from rain and excessive moisture or humidity. The ideal operating temperature is between -10°C to +60°C (-14°F to 140°F) for discharge and between 0°C to +45°C (32°F to 113°F) for charging. Store in a cool, dry place and avoid hot or humid environments. If unused for extended periods, charge and discharge the product once every three months. Do not expose to fire or temperatures exceeding 212°F (100°C), as this can cause an explosion. Do not leave the Ridge Power Bank in a parked vehicle or exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, as temperatures can exceed safe operating limits.

Battery Performance & Charging Speed: Charging speed may vary depending on phone case thickness or placement. For best results, charge in environments under 77°F (25°C). Avoid leaving the device on prolonged charge, as this may lead to overheating or reduced lifespan. Battery capacity typically declines after 2–3 years or 300–1,000 charge cycles, depending on usage.

Electrical & Device Interference: The electronic components and magnetic elements of the Ridge Power Bank may interfere with nearby electronics, magnetic stripe cards, hotel key cards, transit cards, or key fobs. Keep the Ridge Power Bank away from sensitive electronic devices and programmable cards when not in use. The Ridge Power Bank may also interfere with medical devices. Keep Away From Children: Keep the Ridge Power Bank out of reach of children, vulnerable persons, and unauthorized users at all times.

Cleaning: Clean the Ridge Power Bank periodically using a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the device or its components. Do not submerge or rinse the Ridge Power Bank under water. If the device becomes wet, dry it thoroughly before charging or use.

Port and Charging Surface Care: Keep the USB-C port, cable connectors, and wireless charging surface free of dust, lint, and debris. Q: Does the Ridge Power Bank work with all iPhone models or just MagSafe-compatible ones? The Ridge Power Bank works best with MagSafe-compatible iPhones (iPhone 12 and newer) for magnetic attachment and wireless charging. Older iPhones can still use the power bank with cables, but won't have magnetic alignment.

Use an 18W or higher USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charging block and a PD-capable cable for optimal speed. A full recharge from 0% takes up to 5 hours. From 50%, expect approximately 2.5 hours. Q: How fast is the Ridge Power Bank wireless charging speed? The Ridge Power Bank can provide up to 15W wireless charging, but iPhone MagSafe is limited to 7.5W. For faster charging, use the USB-C cable connection.

Q: My phone is charging slowly on the Ridge Power Bank. What can I do? Wireless charging is naturally slower than wired charging, with iPhone MagSafe limited to 7.5W wirelessly. Q: My Ridge Power Bank is not recharging fully or is recharging slowly. What should I check? Real-world results depend on your device's battery size and age, how low the battery is when you start charging, and whether you are charging wirelessly or via cable. Wireless charging uses more power than wired, so you will get fewer charges wirelessly.

Q: My Apple Watch isn't charging or is charging slowly on the Ridge Power Bank. What should I do?
First, confirm the watch is charging. You should see a green circle and green lightning bolt appear on your Apple Watch screen when it is properly connected. The watch display will go dark during charging but charging continues. Apple Watch charges at 2.5W on the Ridge Power Bank, so expect approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for a full charge depending on your Apple Watch model. Try these steps:

• Make sure the back of the watch is firmly aligned on the Apple Watch charging pad. The watch can be knocked off the magnet easily, so confirm you see the green lightning bolt before setting it down
• Wipe both the watch back and the charging pad with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris
• Charge in a cool location away from direct sunlight
• If both devices are already warm, allow them to cool for 10-15 minutes before charging
• Avoid charging both the watch and phone simultaneously if possible, as power is shared between devices
• If the watch is not charging, press the power button once to initiate charging

Q: Why does the green lightning bolt stay on after unplugging from the Ridge Power Bank? The green lightning bolt activates during MagSafe wireless charging and may remain on after removing your device. If it stays on, connect a device to one of the built-in cables briefly and then disconnect. The green light should turn off shortly after.
